Post-Game Q&A: Comeback among U-M's best
Michigan improved to 8-1 all time in overtime games, snatching a victory from a likely defeat in beating Northwestern 38-31. In doing so, the Wolverines kept alive their Big Ten Championship hopes, and left fans in awe over late-game heroics that rival the very best.
How does this comeback victory compare to some of the more improbable wins in the past two decades?
Michigan's come-from-behind win over Notre Dame last season was more unlikely, with U-M rallying from a 24-7 fourth-quarter deficit, and its 2004 triple-overtime win over Michigan State may have been more magical with the big-play theatrics of wide receiver Braylon Edwards, but this deserve to rank among the five or 10 best from the past 20 years.
