Michigan athletics director Dave Brandon spoke to TheWolverine.com about Big Ten expansion, answering the questions you submitted on The Fort, including future divisional alignment for U-M and rival Ohio State.

On whether Big Ten expansion came together too quickly: "Experience shows that these things have to move quickly. If you get into a long, slow, drawn-out process that attracts all sorts of media attention and stakeholder intervention, it almost debilitates the principle ability to finish the work and come to a conclusion and move forward.

"I don't think there was any recklessness associated with how this process was managed. It was thorough and deliberate but we moved quickly simply because this is the best way to get these deals done."
