Michigan has landed its quarterback for 2014 with the pledge of Richmond, Va., native Wilton Speight. Former All-Big Ten first-team performer Doug Skene reviews him film.

Strengths: Standing 6-6 is an advantage for any quarterback. Speight's height gives him the luxury of having great vision down the field. His length also creates a higher point of release when the ball leaves his hand. This makes it harder for defensive linemen to knock passes down at the line of scrimmage.
