Russell Bellomy didn't experience much success when he stepped on the football field five times during the 2012 season. But anyone expecting him to just go away quietly with the arrival of Shane Morris next fall doesn't know him very well.

Bob Wager trusted Bellomy under center in each of his final two seasons at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, and the 6-3, 202-pounder rewarded that faith, throwing for more than 3,000 yards and totaling 28 touchdowns in 2009-10.
