Former Wolverines impress at Michigan's Pro Day

Michigan held its Pro Day Thursday, with 12 former Wolverines looking to impress scouts leading up to the April 25-27 NFL Draft. Jordan Kovacs felt he improved his stock, but even if he isn't drafted, he was a winner after beating Denard Robinson in a friendly competition.

Kovacs and Robinson bet a dinner at Ann Arbor's famed Chop House restaurant on the results of the 40-yard dash, three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle.

Robinson clocked a 4.43-second time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, a 7.09-second three-cone drill and a 4.22 20-yard shuttle - he did not participate in events today in which he already recorded times at the Combine - and while Kovacs didn't come close to his 40 time, running 4.58 seconds, he bested Robinson in the three-cone drill (6.62 seconds) and 20-yard shuttle (4.19 seconds). He also had a vertical jump of 35 inches.
