Analysis: On line play, defense and more

Michigan's defense spent most of the second half on the field last Saturday night at Nebraska when the Denard Robinson-less offense couldn't move the ball. Former U-M defensive lineman Will Heininger still saw plenty to like on that side of the ball, and he sees plenty of opportunity Saturday at Minnesota.

Head coach Brady Hoke and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison made it clear this week they weren't pleased with the defensive performance in a 23-9 loss to the Cornhuskers.

Heininger, however, was a bit more forgiving.
