Hoops: 2015 Luke Kennard reaching new heights

Michigan hasn't offered any class of 2015 prospects and, per head coach John Beilein's policy, won't until June. If ever a sophomore were a sure bet to receive one, though, Franklin (Ohio) guard/forward Luke Kennard might be the guy.

Kennard (6-5, Rivals.com four-star prospect) averaged 27.9 points per game for the state's No. 2 seed in Division II, and he recently scored 25 in a tougher than expected 66-61 win over Carroll, a team it had beaten by 30 in the regular season finale. Polished and poised, Kennard also happens to be one of the better shooters in his class.
