U-M jumps back into top five in both polls
After a one-week hiatus that followed a stretch of three losses in four games, the Wolverines have leapt their way back into the top five.
Very much in line with the unpredictability of this season, there was chaos at the top of the polls once more, making room for the Wolverines at No. 4 in both polls.
Miami, which rode a 14-game winning streak all the way to No. 2 in the polls, was upset by a struggling Wake Forest team, 80-65. The Hurricanes fell to No. 5 in the AP poll and all the way to No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.
Florida also suffered a disappointing loss (63-60 at Missouri) and dropped from fifth to sixth in the coaches' poll and eighth in the AP poll.
Michigan State, who lost two games in the last week, fell to ninth in the AP poll and 10th in the coaches'. Syracuse also fell out of the top 10.
